The Centre for Planning and Social Science is an NGO based in Quito, Ecuador, with more than 30 years experience.

Since its conception CEPLAES has executed hundreds of research projects under a wide variety of themes, related to economic and social development, public political matters, gender studies, childhood and adolescence, ethnic cultures, environmental enquiries, migration, health, work and education. These results are represented in over 50 publications.

Currently CEPLAES is focusing their efforts in five thematic categories to promote human rights
